America wants Poland to join the US visa waiver programme

Close Polish-U.S. cooperation and especially the issue of expanding the Visa Waiver Program to include Poland were the central subjects of a discussion between Ambassador Ryszard Schnepf and Congressman Ted Poe from Texas.  The Ambassador and Congressman discussed the importance of the Visa Waiver Program legislation in the form of the JOLT Act in the House of Representatives and the path forward. Congressman Poe gave his assurances that he would review the JOLT Act and that he supports Poland's entrance into the Visa Waiver Program. The get-together also provided an opportunity for the Ambassador to highlight the fast growing Polish American community in Houston...  The meeting concluded with the Congressman reaffirming his commitment to Poland and expressing his enthusiasm about working closely with both the Ambassador and the Embassy on a wide range of issues.
